Library

The Holly Springs library's quiet corner

Shares the building with the Cultural Center, so there's always a poster for some free class on the way in. The kids' section has its own reading nook.

On a rainy week this is where we land. It's part of the same building as the Cultural Center, so we usually walk out with a flyer for something else to try too.

Ask the desk

The kids' librarian keeps recommendations by reading level, not just age, which has saved us more than once.

We walked in for books and walked out with a list of three more places to try.

What made this one special

A staffer pulled a stack of homeschool-friendly nonfiction for us without us even asking what we needed.
