Cafe

Sir Walter Coffee for a quiet work morning

A storefront spot on Main Street with a corner table that's become our regular Tuesday read-aloud-and-coffee stop.

Downtown Holly Springs has a few coffee options now, but this is the one we keep going back to — close enough to walk from the library, and never too loud to read out loud.

The corner table

There's a two-top near the window that's usually open before ten. We bring a book and a workbook page and nobody rushes us out.

Close enough to walk from the library, quiet enough to actually read.

What made this one special

The owner asked what we were reading and brought out a book from her own shelf for my son to borrow.
